Cardiac Adult Stem Cells May Lead to Treatments

The Associate Press reports that Japanese researchers have discovered stem cells in human heart tissue, a development that could lead to improved treatments for heart disease and reduce the need for transplants, a Japanese newspaper reported Friday.
